You may ask, “What in the world is AGA-BOOM??!!” But strangely enough, you may ask the very same question after you’ve seen it (if you can stop laughing long enough to say anything!)
The show’s creator defines AGA-BOOM as ‘theatre of physical comedy and circus arts,’ but that only hints at the interactive mayhem that carries audiences to the other side of the funhouse mirror, with outrageous zaniness and unrestrained laughter. Is it a play? A musical? A circus? A clown act? The answer has to be “none of the above!” AGA-BOOM is performed by clowns, so unlike traditional clowns as to be something else entirely, and who do things never seen under any Barnum and Bailey big top.
Hilarious and madcap, AGA-BOOM incites enough energy in its audiences to light up the Capital Region for a month. Audiences love it, and are bursting with energy, talking and laughter when they leave the theatre!
